The favorites were the Winter Wheat Ale & the Postmark Blonde. We bought a couple of bottles for the road. Something on the agenda for next time. His favourite was the pale ale and strawberry blonde. Price margin is fair market value at $8 for the sampler set. THIS WAS AMAZING (so amazing that it deserved to be in caps). It almost felt like a cheese cake without the heaviness. I could taste the pistachio. Very beautifully plated (see photo). Inside is huge and large. Customer service was awesome. Our waitress was really friendly. They play a lot of hipster music. This kinda freaked me out a bit and made it odd for me to pee but after the second time it was easy to get over that. Imagine my fright when I turn to get some toilet paper and behind me is a framed picture of Robert Downey Jr. Postmark and the associated brand collective are tough to evaluate. At least on the Brewery end of things this appears to be a rather severe case of style over substance. As a space to have a drink in, the settlement building is one of my favourite places in the city. Showing up at the door as the place neared last call, the staff went out of there way to accommodate us. As all seats were occupied we were offered a tour!?! Having a beer in the dimly lit tasting room was a really great experience. When space opened up the staff found us a some couches to enjoy for the rest of the the evening. Postmarks beer is entirely unexceptional. They've produced a wide range of products and swag associated with the brewery, but the beer is somewhere between unremarkable and mediocre. Until then Postmark is tragically okay. I tried their Stout and the Rasberry beers, both were great. I also stayed for a quick bite and had the Charred Shishito Peppers , delicious. Service was great, prices about average.. Postmark and the Vancouver Urban Winery supplied all of the beer and wine for our wedding on June 2. We got the West Coast Pale Ale and the Blonde. Guests drank more of the Blonde but I heard nothing but compliments about both (to be fair, we started our guests out with cans of Lucky Lager during our ceremony, so once they moved over to our cocktail hour and they started getting glasses of fresh, draught, craft beer, they were especially impressed). As for the wine, the Ros. Wish we ordered more of it. The booking/pick up was easy and overall they were friendly and great to work with. Wouldn't totally go out of my way for the flavour of the beers though. Such an amazing hidden gem!! The food looks amazing! There's a large selection of beer and wine! Friendly staff! The team behind Vancouver Urban Winery, Fresh. Tap (wine on tap), Roaring Twenties Wine Co., and the newly opened Belgard Kitchen have launched their long in the works in- house brewery, bringing the same passion and zeal for wine to craft beer at 5. Dunlevy Street with Postmark Brewing. It's perfect for a quick drop- in fill and dash off in the summertime and is sure to appeal to walkers by and foot traffic from workers in the area. Cheers. One of the fastest fills in town. Usually not much of a wait as most patrons are waiting for Belgard. Pale ale isn't bad either. They've done an outragous job of the bar area with incredible attention to detail - this is real gastro bar styling. From the huge cathedral style front doors onwards it's a visual treat. Their Pale Ale and Dry Irish Stout are both excellent. The lager was tastier than most but still refreshing. Another one made with BC raspberries was delicious: you can definitely detect the fruit, but it's definitely tastes like a beer rather than a sparkling juice (. Inside, there's a variety of seating options due to the variety of businesses, but you can drink and eat anywhere: by the lounge chairs around the fire place, on the high bar tables or bar counter, or inside the cozy room to the side with a tangle of filament light bulbs dangling overhead. It seems like there's something for everyone, and I can't wait to come back to try the food. Nice restrooms and decorative touches. Add Postmark one to your local brewery tour list. The atmosphere is really awesome, starting from the huge doors on the way in. The spruce beer is a limited time selection but it's amazing. Came here with a meetup group (craft beer in east van); vancouver urban winery/ belgard kitchen/ postmark brewery.. Rather than your typical Starbucks card I decided to go the beer route. Jessica was a great help letting me sample any beer I requested. The aroma coming from the kitchen was amazing. I can't wait to come back and try the food. Postmark, well, they make beer and stuff. The beer is really good. In this city there are dozens of micro/craft breweries trying to win your favour. They do dumb stuff like add berries and chocolate and carpet shavings and hummingbird toenails to their beer. Postmark doesn't do that. They pick a few different types of brews and make each of them very well. That's a magical place reserved for the best in the world. Postmark is very close to getting five stars. Are they the best in the world? But they make really, really good beer. Maybe if they served potato chips with their burgers instead of popcorn they'd get the rounding error of their fifth star. Still, the beer is amazing, the only thing I've eaten there is a burger and it was really, really good, and I buy their beer on a regular basis despite the fact that it's a bit of a detour for me to ride by their facility. It's worth the detour. Good food. The service was top notch - friendly, attentive and upbeat. The beer ( had an IPA & a Stout ) was very good and the little pizza's were very tasty. I had the one with mushrooms and smoked bacon and it was excellent. Food was out promptly and nice and hot. Not much to not like here. Will be back. Short review: drinks - beer brewed on site is very very good, emphasis on smooth flavours and seasonal brews. Tends to be on the lower end of the alcohol spectrum (only 1 beer is currently 5% or above). Wine selection is all BC and geared towards tasting flights and discovery - a unique experience in Vancouver. Food - focus on sharing & smaller plates. Scallops, tomato fondue are phenomenal, other items are 'Very Good', though the flatbread is pretty bland. Atmosphere - small- ish dining room in a large heritage building dominated by brew pots and a wall of wine barrels makes this a beautifully unique and cozy space in Railtown. This place is beautiful! The food was absolutely delicious. Beers are awesome and great selection. Wine is v expensive though. Found this brewery just by passing. That was ok, as we decided to get a couple of beers while waiting. She said she'd take care of it. We ordered the yam gnocchi and flank steak. Spent $3. 5 each for two small glasses of beer and food. The beer is different. A must when doing a brewery adventure. One of the waitresses is babe but doesnt know it.
